My husband has his heart set on planting a redwood tree on our property, but the spot where he wants to plant it is within the dripline of two black walnut trees. Does anyone know if redwoods are tolerant to the juglone produced by black walnuts?

My 12 year old house cat jess went missing saturday night and as she is always within ear shot of my house it was really worrying to have her not come running when i called her saturday night as she happily sleeps in my room every night without fail. she is not the type of cat to not come home or run off and it is tuesday now and she is still not back. she only ever goes in me my left and right neighbours front garden and back garden and the small bit of grass right at the front of my house i have has jess since i was 4 and it is killing me not having her around the bond between us was unbreakable and she was a very happy healthy cat. we have put out a add on the radio and asked all neighbours if they have seen or heard anything and they have also checked their sheds and houses, we have also put up posters please give me some advice on what to do and maybe were you think she is or what happend to her would to would be great sorry its a little wordy just wanted to get everything inn thankyou. x

I recently went to roomsaver.com to find coupons for a trip to South Padre Island. I found one coupon for the Hilton Garden Inn for .99 per night based on double occupancy and on a walk in basis. I presented the coupon to the desk clerk and before even seeing the coupon she said "that is not our coupon and we did not authorize it nor will we accept it". She then told me to call the main office for Hilton Hotels which I did. The woman on the phone for Hilton said that I would have to contact roomsaver if the hotel I was at refused to honor the coupon. Roomsaver checked into it and called me back telling me that they had made a mistake and that it was too bad but nothing could be done. I was furrious that they had lured me into a 0.00 per night room with a great coupon and she said that the coupons encourage you to call ahead and make sure the rooms are available but they did not, it stated that it was on a walk in basis only and that you could call for reservations at a different rate. Do not trust Roomsaver.com for your room coupons or Hilton to honor them. Is there anything that I can do since I was seriously put out for our family vacation? I did not stay at the Hilton by the way, we went down to the La Copa Inn and had a very pleasant stay at a little less per night.

I’m trying to translate the phrase "Save the Redwoods!" into a foreign language for a project I’m working on. Could you translate it into your language? Any language will do.. but I think Czech or Latin would be really cool (even though Redwoods have nothing to do with the Czech Republic or the Ancient Romans).

Something like "Long Live the Redwoods!" might also work if that sounds catchier in your language of choice.
