My 12 year old house cat jess went missing saturday night and as she is always within ear shot of my house it was really worrying to have her not come running when i called her saturday night as she happily sleeps in my room every night without fail. she is not the type of cat to not come home or run off and it is tuesday now and she is still not back. she only ever goes in me my left and right neighbours front garden and back garden and the small bit of grass right at the front of my house i have has jess since i was 4 and it is killing me not having her around the bond between us was unbreakable and she was a very happy healthy cat. we have put out a add on the radio and asked all neighbours if they have seen or heard anything and they have also checked their sheds and houses, we have also put up posters please give me some advice on what to do and maybe were you think she is or what happend to her would to would be great sorry its a little wordy just wanted to get everything inn thankyou. x

Awww, i’m sorry to hear that. Well that happen with my other cat too. She ran away and never came home. But it seems like your cat wouldn’t do that i’m pretty sure someone might of toke it, or she might of gone in fight with another cat or dog, or maybe something scared her really bad and she ran as fast as she can away from the noise & ended up losing the house.

Well 12 is old for a cat so if u check places where your cat would normally NOT hide it mite be dead, sick, or hiding. my 12 year old cat was no where to be found so i looked on the top bunk of my bed and she was there and she didnt look too good. i took her to the vet and they said she has liver cancer. she could die any minute now or could live for years to come. i hope you take my advice and find ur cat.

Im sorry to hear.My answer is based on my personal experience.
One night my cat too did run away.I did all I could to find him and when I did he was dead.I asked my vet if he might have Been killed by a car or something along that.He told me that when Cats get old they go away to die because they know you wont be able to cope with it.Its really sad and painful but that’s how it happens.Although some may be old too and might get lost in the shed or something around you’re area. Best of luck =)
Oh sweetie, I am sorry to hear that. It is very unlikely that she has got lost…cats dont get lost, they always find their way home again, they have an amazing built in tracking system!! I take it that she is in good health…as cats to tend to run away if they are unwell. I recently lost my one year old Persian…he was in great health, so we thought…no symptoms apart from the fact he had lost some weight which we put down to it being very very hot. I searched for him for 4 days, asked all the neighbours if they had seen him…to no avail. I eventually found him after 4 days, he had sadly passed away in the woods….natural causes…he also never ever went far from the house…he always stayed in ear shot from our house. Try going out with a tin of her food in hand, calling her name and rattling the tin….if she can hear you and is hungry…she will come running…I really really hope you find her..am keeping everything crossed for you…I know how worrying it is and also how upset you are feeling….
