Borongan I’m going to a show at the Madison Square Garden Tuesday night. I’m struggling to find a hotel that isn’t something like 0, and all of the cheaper ones (the Colonial House Inn, for example) seem to be booked full. Does anyone here have any suggestions??? The closer to the Garden, the better.

I’m coming from San Diego and driving up to Fresno, then Yosemite, then Crescent City/redwood forest, going all the way up the Oregon and Washington coast to Port Angeles then going to Seattle then to Portland and back down,.

What are some really cool things that I can stop for on the way (sight seeing stuff and things that cost little or no money) Thanks!

I was re-staining a redwood seating area, when I was swarmed with gnats. They landed in the can of stain, all over the freshly applied stain and all over me… making it impossible to get any good work done.

The giant sequoias live on the western slope of the Sierra Nevada in California. Giant sequoias can live a remarkable 3,500 years and are known as the largest life form on the earth.

Why can’t evolutionists find a common ancestor for these type of trees?

Last spring break my family got 5 free round trip tickets because American Airlines gave away our seats (hate that airline) The ages of the people going are 47 (my dad) 64 (my grandma) 16, 14, and 10 (me and my sisters). My dad doesnt want to go to the Los Angeles area. They probably want to go to a beach but I’d be more interested in a city. Is there a nice family friendly city in california near a beach? Or a beach with good shopping or near a city.
(also im not interested in going to the redwoods or anything historical)

My friends and I will be road tripping from southern California to northern California at the beginning of next summer to catch some baseball games in Oakland. I know it’s like 8 months away, but we’re college students so we need to start saving now, based on suggestions. We need some advice where to stay (Oakland, Alameda, San Francisco) and safe hotels in the area. We’ll be there for 3-4 days.
