Ask him if he has a few minutes to talk. When he does, make your request. Do it pleasantly, and see what happens. Don’t be demanding, just ask pleasantly, if it would be ok, and what would be acceptable. Good luck.

I would open up the conversation by asking why, at your location, women only wear dresses? If he doesn’t have a good explanation for you be honest with him. Tell him the benefits he would get if you were able to wear pants. Let him know you would be more comfortable and tell him how your work performance would improve if you were more comfortable.

First – read the policy guidelines and procedure carefully. Make sure that the option of slacks is even available at the location you work.
With that knowledge in mind, find time to speak with your boss. Don’t do it while you are on the clock nor while he is busy. A good suggestion would be to come in on a day off or after finishing/before starting a shift. It will make things feel less rushed.
Armed with your knowledge of the policy and procedure – talk calmly and politely about your suggestion. Bring up the other location if need be. Also bring up comfort and maneuverability. Tell him how it could help -you- with your job. He’ll be more agreeing if he thinks it will make you a more effective employee.

If you have the option it really shouldn’t be a concern should it!! Look to creating a strong working relationship with your boss & honesty is key trait be fourth-coming & explain that you would be happier wearing slacks…….. If it unnerves to discuss things with your manager go in with a few notes to prompt you to speak up

You should ask your boss for a meeting, once scheduled wear your slacks that you have been wanting to wear so that your boss can see you in them and deem if they are approite enough. Tell your boss that you want to wear what you have on to work and that you know that other Hilton Garden Inns allow there employes to chose bewtten dresses and slacks. Explain that you dont feel comftrable wearing the dress to work, and that you prefer the slacks. If he dosent allow you to try to talk to somone above him or ask to transferd.
Just state that you would prefer to wear slacks instead of a dress if at all possible. Simple. S/he may ask why and you just need to state that you are more comfortable in slacks and that you know it is an option at other locations. S/he will either ok it or not.
