Are the giant redwoods ( Sequoia ) older than the Swiss Alps and the Rocky Mountains? Are they a testament?
Are they a testament to God? Why ,when God appeared to man,was his Glory in the form of fire?
At least 12 species of redwoods have been identified from fossils found in Europe, Asia and North America.Redwoods need fire to survive. The bark of the coast redwood contains tannins, chemicals which resist burning.
The coast redwoods live on the coast of California and southern Oregon, enjoying the mild climate influenced by the Pacific Ocean. The coast redwoods are renowned for their age — up to 2,000 years old — and their immense height. Coast redwoods easily grow 300 feet high.
The giant sequoias live on the western slope of the Sierra Nevada in California. Giant sequoias can live a remarkable 3,500 years and are known as the largest life form on the earth.
Why can’t evolutionists find a common ancestor for these type of trees?

The Alps were formed about in a period from 100 until about 15 million years ago.
If you are able to think in large numbers, you’lll realize that this is some time before your trees started growing a few thousand years ago.
And regarding "evolutionists" (normally referred to as biologists in real English):
Why should they be looking for a common ancestor of these trees (what are the benefits and who’d pay their bills for this research)?
And who says they won’t find one if they ever really start looking?

Because fossils are actually very rare. The likelihood something will be fossilised and discovered tiny. Demanding that "evolutionists" take one organism and find its ‘common ancestor’ is ridiculous. It’s like finding a broken bottle on a beach and saying "if you can’t find me where this bottle was made then I’m going to believed it was made by faeries" We’ve found other bottles and where they were made, and it definitely wasn’t by faeries in a magical cave – are you going to demand the same thing for every single shard of glass in existance?
Besides according to the bible god created the land and plants on the same day. So they’re equally old, give or take 23 hours.

there is plenty of evolutionary evidence for the trees not least of which is the DNA genome.
and they’re not the largest living things on the planet – the largest thing is the Armillae ostoyae fungus in Oregon which is also over 2000 years old and covers 2200 acres
the mountains are much much older – get a geology book.
