I’m taking a 3-4 day trip up the California coast from LA to, maybe, Santa Cruz. Just interested in some cheap but fun things to do driving up. What cities to stop @ and what to see.

I was wondering where are some cool places to vacation at with a family?

My fiance and I will be getting married in August and only have time for a quick 3-5 day honeymoon. We would both love to visit northern California – especially Napa, SF, etc… Any ideas – especially any realtively inexpensive all-inclusive resort -type places that have spas/tours, hikes, etc..Thanks in advance!
