I live in the bay area of california. and will be taking a driving test in san mateo. i failed my 1st try in redwood city because of my failure to yield even though my arrow was green. that is the only problem i seem to have now. but am getting better at avoiding it. just wondering if its harder or hard to take the test in san mateo?

I am having trouble deciding what we should do next year for our getaways. We live in Northern California. So far we are going to Monterrey for the weekend in May for our anniversary and camping in Oregon in August.

So the choices are:

Take a train ride up through oregon and washington visiting Portland and Seattle and arriving in Canada and spending the rest of the time in Vancouver. Then flying back home.

Flying to the east coast and visiting friends, we will be in Maryland, Virginia and Pennsylvania.

I’ve just put up a redwood and pressure treated fence. It was recommended to me that I should apply some kind of sealer as soon as possible. My questions are, will it be better to give the wood a couple of weeks or so first or should I apply the sealer right away? Will it hurt anything if I apply it now? Will any kind of sealer like deck sealer work?

I have a small pool with a Redwood tree that drops a lot of debris into the pool. There is a brown residue on the sides and bottom of the pool that is really unsightly and annoying. Do you have any recommendations on how to remove it?
