What is the route in the san mateo driving test? and is it hard around that area?
I live in the bay area of california. and will be taking a driving test in san mateo. i failed my 1st try in redwood city because of my failure to yield even though my arrow was green. that is the only problem i seem to have now. but am getting better at avoiding it. just wondering if its harder or hard to take the test in san mateo?

Just practice driving more. Every tester will take you on a different course. There isn’t "the" route per-say. Learn to drive and don’t be in a rush. And for Christ’s sake – please don’t be the moron that takes it 8 times and then totals their car because they really just passed out of sheer luck.
I do want to mention though that yeah, they are sticklers for little things like this – SO when you practice exaggerate everything (yielding, turning on your turn signal long enough before turning, head movements when looking) and then when you get to the test it will be natural. And then once you pass you can ease out of exaggeration -why YES, I DID just do a yield- mode. Good luck!
