Hi! I am a Cal State student. I have certaintly heard of Humbolt, and wouldn’t mind going there. But, I would get too homesick for southern California, so I go to a CSU down here.

Humbolt is fairly easy to get into because of it’s location in northern California. It is in Arcata. The area isn’t super populated like other places in California. The good thing about HSU is that they have an agreement with certain other western and northwest states where an out of state student wont pay much more than an in state student. Also, there is a day HSU hosts where applicants can take their applications and transcripts and get admitted on the spot if they are qualified! It’s a decent school. Some people might not have heard of the location unless they are from the same system, but it doen’t matter. They’re all Cal States.

Also, HSU offers many majors, including Zoology which some schools don’t have.
