The Yard House is my favorite restaurant. It is right on the pier with a great view. The food is amazing. They have over 200 beers on tap and during happy hour they have half priced appetizers and drinks.

Hi,
Traveling is my hobby & Long Beach California is a good place for vacation.
When I visit there, I like visit Paninis on 1825 Redondo Ave. Big E Pizza on 3225 E Pacific Coast Hwy is also a good place.

There are a lot of good places to eat in Long Beach. We’re called the most diverse city in the nation and our food choices reflects that. You didn’t say what kind of food you like so I am going to recommend a little of everything, shacks to places you need to dress up. You can find all the addresses on the internet. Quite a few of the places have websites.
Tracht’s, 555 East, The Pike Bar & Fish Grill on 4th Street, Kona, Enrique’s (Mexican), George’s Greek Cafe, Utopia, Open Sesame, Angelo’s Italian Deli, Porky’s BBQ (BBQ shack), Roscoe’s House of Chicken & Waffles, MVP’s Grill & Patio, Johnny Reb’s, Cafe Piccollo, Bono’s, Siem Reap (Cambodian), Bouchees Bistro, Benley: A Vietnamese Kitchen, Yard House (huge beer selection), Kafe Neo, Coffee Cup Cafe (breakfast, lunch), Walt’s Wharf in neighboring Seal Beach, Kelly’s Restaurant, Berth 55 Fish Market and Seafood Deli (eat outside next to where fishing vessels come in), Pho America (Vietnamese), 49ers Tavern (good burgers, not fancy), King’s Fish House, Coco Reno’s (taco shack), Sushi Studio, Greenfield Churrascaria(Brazilian style grilled meat & lots of it) and Hungry Horse Drive-In.
omg – so many places to go!! Go to 2nd Street and you will find great restaurants and shopping. Panama Joe’s is good – they have delish nachos. You can find a ton of places on 2nd street – just depends on if you are in the mood for Italian, Chinese, Japanese, Mediterranean, etc – you will find all different price ranges as well
For evenings, I would suggest going to a place known as "Shoreline Village" – there are restaurants right on the water and places like The Yardhouse get pretty packed and the food is greathttp://www.yardhouse.com/location.asp?id=1 , Parker’s Lighthouse is a little more "nice" and specialized in seafood – it’s really yummy. There are other restaurants right there that look good, but I haven’t tried them all
You could also go to Pine Avenue and they have a Rock Bottom Brewery there as well as other restaurants that you can just walk and see if it’s the type of food you are looking for. I have eaten at a few places and have not been disappointed by any of them
So I suggest for your stay in Long Beach, you visit 2nd Street, Pine Ave., and Shoreline Village – there are endless places to eat, shop, and people watch (the Long Beach Aquarium is across the street from Shoreline Village – I suggest you go there too)
