Best primer to use for redwood interior ceilings and walls?
Does anyone know the best primer to use on redwood walls? Everyone has told us to use kilz, but we’ve put on 2 coats already and the wood is still bleeding. Should we be using a different primer since it’s redwood?

Terrible! Never paint redwood! If you can strip it all off, use a stain! It will bleed through paint — forever!
The primer is not designed to be opaque. It seals the wood, and gives a good surface for the finish paint to adhere to. The finish paint has much more pigment and will cover it. Hope this helps.
