Information about Humboldt State University?
Can someone (preferably a current student）tell me more about Humboldt State University? For example, the social life there, teachers, students, and activities? I am planning on majoring in Liberal Studies, I just want to know what it’s like over there before I apply. Thanks in advance.

One of my brother’s friends go there, he says it’s a small stoner school. The social life is pretty good, that’s all I’ve heard.

ive heard everyone there is wonderful and the outside town is supposed to be friendly aswell. its definitely a stoner school, they grow weed there. its so beautiful
I’m a freshman at HSU, originally I’m from the LA area. The school’s pretty mellow and they do have lots of activities, plays, dances, and clubs to join. Last week the Humboldt Circus put on a show, it was awesome. Yes there is a large pot-smoking scene here, but I don’t do any of that so I can’t say much more. There’s a big rec room with a rock climbing wall, indoor field, and lots of cardio and weight equipment. There’s also a swimming pool. They show movies every weekend I think in the commons. My teachers are all very nice and my classes are all not much bigger than your average high-school classroom.
