Not likely to happen. Most rental agecies require you to be 21 or 25.

I’m afraid that you will be unable to rent a car due to your age – most, if not all, car rental companies will not rent to anybody under 25. Taking a taxi will be expensive, but probably about as much as you’d pay to rent a car.

most car rental agencies want you to be 21 some want you to be 25 Good luck
Start phoning now and I’d make sure to preface with the military. That is what we had to do for a friend who was fairly far away. They did eventually rent it to him, but it took a valid credit card, license obviously and some proof of insurance. Also, unless your credit card provides insurance, it might be less expensive to get insurance through your own insurance company as well. For me, it is about 30 dollars a year to add coverage for a rental car that extends the benefits of my own policy to it.
