Does anybody know of good volunteer opportunities in the Western United States? I’m trying to plan a small student trip (up to 11 people) for approximately 10 days this coming March. These would be college students, all 18 or over. We travel in a big white van, and the volunteer location can’t be more than 18 hours or so drive from Colorado Springs.

If there are locations that provide lodging or food, etc. or help finding it, that would be much preferred but not necessary.

Any kind of work is good – I was hoping for outdoor work and/or with redwoods. But I’m open to all suggestions, especially if you’ve been there personally.
