What would be a nice place to stay for me and my husband when we visit the redwood forest.?
All I know it my husband has always wanted to see the Redwood trees. I have the idea of staying in a small cottage(something romantic). Maybe a small kitchen, with a hot tub. I don’t mind staying in a small town but would like a nice view of the forest and walking distance (less than 1/2 mile). Must be nicely decorated and comfortable beding. What city/ state? Any suggestion

the biggest redwoods (including the tallest tree in the world) are in Humboldt county, Ca. There’s a lot of bed and breakfasts in the area, but the best trees are in the parks. I’ll never forget those stands of trees, it’s truly awe inspiring. good luck!

The Pelican inn is about 1/2 mile from Muir woods national park. They have beautiful redwood trees, but the biggest are in Humboldt county. So, I;m not sure what you mean when you say the redwood forests, because Muir woods is definitely a redwood forest and people come to see it from all over the world. Oh, Muir woods is in Marin county near the town of Mill Valley, just north of the Golden Gate bridge. Humboldt is about a 5 hour drive north of the Golden Gate Bridge.

The Inn is surrounded by tall Redwoods, next to the Big Basin and Henry Cowell Redwoods State Parks. Very romantic and secluded. Its a B&B, so you get a kitchen and breakfast. Located in Felton, 15 minutes from Santa Cruz. Innkeepers name is Hanna Peters.
