Does anyone have a description or pictures of Eureka/the Humboldt Bay area in California?
I’m considering moving to the Eureka area and have never been there. Does anyone have pictures or a description of the town/beaches/area they can show or tell me? Thanks much!

I’ve been living in the Eureka area for about a year now at a place called King Salmon. It’s two miles south of town and is real nice. I’m about 200 yards from the bay and half a mile rom the ocean. Humboldt bay is huge, from Arcata in the north to the wild life refuge in the south it must be 15-20 miles. The beaches are very nice,as good as it gets in Ca. It is still legal to drive on them too. Lots or off roading around here. Drive half an hour on any highway and you’re in the woods. Town is small. Large truck access is limited by the highways so prices are higher here.Good community spirit.Small town feel. You should come check it out before moving here ,it’s not for everyone.
visit first. I lived there for five years. some of the best, simplest, coolest times in my life. people are sweet there, and earth concsious. art there is amazing and oh the festivals!!!! most restaurants are fab, even though its kinduv a small community. look into arcata, too. Enjoy!!!!!!!!! Seriously, go there. Its unlike any other place I have ever seen and I’ve seen a lot.
