How to climb the redwoods?
Does anyone know if it’s possible to climb the redwood trees in California? Is there a company or a non-profit organization that does it? Are there hikes up on the canopy?
Thanks đŸ™‚

Hi There. I live in California very close to the tallest tree in the world. I’m to afraid of heights, so I have never tried this. But, I’ve seen people having fun themselves and they say it’s amazing what lurks above. However, the site he supplied above is a good resource. .
National Geographic just did a coverage and the photos of the people climbing it is amazing. It’s in the October issue which you may still find in a book store. It will not be shown on the website, but here is a fact about the outline of the story.
Steve Sillett of Humboldt State University was the first scientist to climb into redwood canopies and pioneer studies of their rich canopy ecosystems. Hear about his "mind-blowing" findings in the canopy during his extensive eight-year research, including immense tree limbs that support three-foot-thick mats of canopy soil, huckleberry bushes with fruit and even wandering salamanders.
