What do you think about Redwood City, CA?
Hello. We are thinking of moving to Redwood City, CA. We found a nice house near Caltrain Sequiloa Station, located on the west of El Camino Real near Jefferson Ave. It seems convenient being close by downtown, grocery stores, shops, and restaurants. What do you think of this area? When we went there, we saw quite a lot of hispanic/latino people. We felt safe there but since we have never lived in such neighborhood, we would like to hear your thoughts, especially from people who have actually lived there, or who are familiar with Redwood City.

I grew up in San Carlos, right next door to Redwood City.
I had many friends that lived in the area you are asking about and it is a fine area for the reasons you outline.
My nephews still live in Redwood City, near Sequoia Hospital and they like it just fine.
As long as I can remember there has always been a large hispanic population in Redwood City, and that goes back to the early 60’s.
