Is Humboldt State a good school for anthropology?
I am curious as to whether or not it has a decent anthropology department, and how credible it is. I would like to continue on to grad school as well, and I would want to par take in research. My interests include cultural anthropology and archeology.

if you want a great school for anthro, try SFSU.
if you want to continue on for grad school in anthro to get a better job, go to an Ivy league or something similar.
most anthro people/majors, expecially in archeology, cant get a good job and often are rejected since jobs in that field requires more of a Ph.D, especially in leading expeditions. usually though, the journeys end in failures most of the time.
I certainly hope so, because I’m going there in the fall to major in anthropology. I have heard that SFSU’s anthro program is good, but Humboldt seems to be a really good undergraduate school – very hands on. I’m planning on going elsewhere for graduate school, but they’ve got some very interesting classes at Humboldt and it seems like a good place to get your undergrad degree.
