What kind of makeup should I wear to the beach?
Im going on a week long vacation to the beach, I will be living in a beach house.
It isnt like Florida beaches its a northern california beach, so its actually kind of cold & foggy in the morning, but still the beach.

Depends. Defensibly lip balm. And waterproof eyeliner and mascara is probably the best most laid back look.(:

Keep it simple and tasteful such as a bit of mascara- water proof, concealer and a lipstick.

I’d strongly suggest wearing none, especially if you’re swimming. :\ However, I know what it feels like to have some blemishes, so here what I’d do:
-Skip the foundation – opt for some light concealer to dab on or a tinted moisturizer, which is much better for the skin and still covers things up
-If you feel like making your eyes pop, use a water-proof mascara and eyeliner
-A tint of bronzer to contour your face can give you a nice glow, but don’t overdo it!

I would stick with your foundation of course(don’t feel bad I do the same) Try the new foundation with medication it seems to be working for me! Anyways-if you are planning on getting wet-avoid eyeliner bc you will soon look like a zombie! :-P….You should be okay with a mascara but try using the good stuff..water resistant
Enjoy your vaca!(Im jealous lol)

Wear lipgloss, waterproof mascara, foundation, a light eyeshadow, and black eyeliner.
That would probably be enough.
I hope this helped.

Here are some tips I found :
1.) First and foremost, you must remove all make-up that may be caked on from your past make-up adventures. When you’re under the hot sun, the first thing to melt will be old eyeliner or mascara that is hiding in your lashes.
2.) Once your have a fresh canvas, apply sunscreen. If you don’t wear sunscreen everyday, consider this as your reminder. Apply waterproof sunscreen evenly on your face. The sunscreen not only will protect your skin from the sun, but also will act as a base for the rest of your beach-beauty look. Wait 5 minutes to let the sunscreen settle before applying the rest of your make-up.
3.) Use a medium- to full-coverage concealer that is the same color as your skin (not lighter). Using a sponge to ensures a smooth application. Dab the sponge into the concealer, look up and apply under the eyes as well as on the eyelid. The key to this application is looking up while you dab the sponge back and forth over the under eye area. This technique ensures you will not get a cakey finish in any lines or wrinkles you may have under your eyes (I know this doesn’t pertain to you, but hey, some people are less fortunate!). Feel free to use the concealer on any other discolored spots on the skin.
4.) Apply a pressed powder with a large powder brush to set everything.
5.) Next use a bronze light reflecting powder wherever the sun would naturally hit your face (Cheek bones, sides of forehead and a little on the nose and chin). If your feeling a little crazy put some on your shoulders and on your cleavage line to give the illusion of a larger bust line.
6.) Curl your lashes and apply mascara. Curling your lashes will be essential to this “natural” look because without any other eye make-up, your lashes need to POP!!! You also should make sure to use waterproof mascara, the last thing you want is raccoon eyes after a couple of hours under the sun! Apply mascara on both top and bottom moving in a side-to-side motion to get the most flawless application.
7.) Your final step to beach perfection is, of course, lip gloss! The best beach-perfect gloss is one that is not sticky, moisturizes, is sheer and is long-lasting. One of the best for the beach is MAC Lipgelee. Try going for a pretty light pink or coral shade, which is all the rage right now.
I hope this helps there are also some more sites in case you were looking for different tips enjoy! 🙂

Put concealer over your acne then put a thin liquid foundation over it. Dust a bronzer on and put some blush on your cheeks. Then top it off with mascara and lipgloss! (:

Light makeup! You should wear some foundation, power, a little bronzer on your cheeks and maybe some light pink blush if you want to. Then you could use a nude color on your eyelid, or just go without a shadow and just used mascara.

water resistant makeup? Try MAC’s Studio Sculpt foundation, its water resistant, full coverage, and a natural finish which looks like your own skin. they also carry a Studio Sculpt concealer. Also look into Pro Longwear foundation and concealers, they are new to the counter but i especially love the concealer, it dries and stays in place unlike other concealers that are so creamy they dont ever "dry" and tend to settle into lines and crease.
Pair this up with "splashblack" water proof mascara and some bronzer and you’re there! quick simple summer look! oh, btw, the foundations are SPF 15, tinted lip conditioners with SPF are available as well. check it all out online as well. http://www.maccosmetics.com
I would suggest you try a tinted moisturizer because it will moisturize your skin and give you coverage also if you have dark circles or blemishes then you can use some concealer!
Some people like to put powder just so they keep a matte face all day but if your face is going to get wet there really is no point!
Use a waterproof mascara and eyeliner my friend has one my maybelline and it is amazing! because she put it on and hopped in the pool and it didnt even smudge!
If your face won’t get wet use some neutral eyeshadows! but nothing to heavy because you dont want to be over done at the beach because most of the people there wont care if you have no makeup on!
I hope this helped
