Humboldt or San Francisco State to get into medical school?
I slacked off a lot in my first 2 years of high school which brought my grades down to a 3.2 GPA no matter how hard I tried to raise them. I got accepted into both Humboldt and San Francisco State (the only schools I could afford to apply to).
But now I don’t know which one to go to because I ultimately want to become a pediatrician and I don’t know which school to choose that will look better when I apply to medical school.

I was a senior last year so I can give you some tips. I also want to go to a health professional school and I got into the UCs and various CSUs. However, I chose a nearby state university for a few reasons. 1. I wanted to stay focused. 2. Wanted to save money.
The main tip I can give you is stay as close to home as possible now, use the money for medical school. Both places are great from what I have heard. I’ve had a few friends go to each university.
Also, go to the place you feel most comfortable at. Both will allow you to go to medical school.
