Where are some good family vacation spots in Oregon or Northern California?
I want to go on a family vacation this summer. I live in NV and can’t spend too much on a family trip so we want to drive. What are some adventurous (hiking, biking, lakes etc.) spots in Northern CA or Oregon?

Wow! Lot’s of possibilities. Have you been to Lake Tahoe? Sequoia Nat’l Park, Lassen Volcanic Nat’l Park, Lake O’dell In Oregon is great for fishing, ditto Bend & Newberry National Volcanic Monument. Crater Lake National park is awesome! You get there and then you’ve got what you’re interested in!

There is also Columbia River Gorge in Oregon and Mt Hood. If you go to the gorge you will be on the Oregon/Washington border and not too far from Mt St Helens and Mt Rainier in Washington.
The Redwood forest in northern California, right on the Oregon border, is a must-see. Crater Lake in southern Oregon is awe-inspiring. I lived 2 years in Eugene and I agree that it’s a great place.
