oh, go to san diago. you can go to sea world (which is great you’ll love believe with shamu) and then you can hope in the car and drive to tijuana or baja california and have a great sea food dinner (that’s really cheap because its mexico but really nice because its mexico) just remember to bring your passports and brush up on us history.

For that I would travel to the mountains or perhaps a state park and go camping. It is not about the destination it is about spending time together. Check your local tourist info office or your local AAA. Another one is think about the vacations you had as a kid, and would like to share with your new spouse. Good Luck!

Marco Island in Florida is wonderful. You can get an ocean front luxury condo on a private beach for as low as 650 a week. The sand is pure white and really soft [like walking on baby powder] and great restaurants and really clean. And there’s live music and entertainment at the on-the-beach restaurants at night. It was voted one of the best beaches in the world, and not that many people go there so it’s not even crowded.
I’ll get you some links in a moment to some cool condos that I know are nice
Edit:
$500 a week, available for those dates, oceanfront (I’ve personally stayed at the Apollo about 5 times, there’s a sauna, restaurant, pool, jacuzzi, private beach access, etc):

$700, same building

$450, nice decor, but not ocean front. Instead it’s on the bay across the street from the beach but still walking distance:

These are just some examples, I’m sure there are nicer ones if you search some more. You can stay at the Marriot resort there which is very fancy and romantic, but they don’t include kitchens and are much more expensive+crowded (since that’s where the live entertainment is held).
Sunsets are awesome, Everglades are nearby, Naples outlet mall. 10,000 Island tours, jet skis, parasailing, shelling trips [I found one of those ginormous conches once!].
But good luck with wherever you decide and Congratulations! =)
