I am going to get a fender american strat, either in black or 3 color sunburst, I see a lot of people with redwood, is it just for looks? Depending on which color I get, should I get a different fretboard?

well i have worldmark by wyndham and i want to know where all the good vacation spots are at they all dont have to be in california though it could be in the states around like nevada,oregon,utah, etc.
