There were many companies that could have created who knows how may jobs from the foresting of the area but we are no longer allowed to forrest in the national parks. Should we allow job creators to once again create jobs in the area and forrest the land as it should be?
I really want to volunteer at an animal shelter, but many of them say that you have to be at least 16 to 18 years old. Anything type of volunteer work would be fine though. Thx
I hired some workers to come and replace some dry rot on the outside of my house. im not sure what kind of wood they used. either douglas-fir or redwood. how can i tell which wood they used? and if they used douglas-fir, is it appropriate for use on the outside of the house? i have heard that they are not good for outdoors. thank for the help
when you replace wood on the outside of the house, for example wooden beams. what kinds of wood are good and which are bad?
I have swingset made of redwood, cedar, and hawthorne lumber. I sanded it down then applied 6 coats of UV Flood semi-transparent stain (water based). Should I apply varnish, lacquer, or polyurethane to further protect it?

I live in San Francisco/Bay Area, me n some friends just wanna go camping out in the redwood trees. we’re all 17 so we can’t go anywhere that demands an adult, but we can all drive so if you know a place thats no more than like an hour or so from SF then let us know
