How would I decorate a huge outdoor tree? construction gear?

I bought lights and huge ornaments for my 100-ft Redwood tree. I want to decorate it. What is going to be the most cost-effective way to do this? Build scaffolding? Rent an ez-lift? Hire a company? We are in Bay Area, California. Thanks for your ideas!

Do I need pressure treated wood?

I am putting up a pergola. I made concrete footings with a metal base which the post will sit on. I needed to know if I need pressure treated wood or will regular redwood with a sealer suffice.

We have a rust orange metal roof w/ rust red beams. What color for walls-n-accesories?

We want to let it be our ceiling too. We have neutral tile floors, & natural pine cabinets for d kitchen. Our house is block-n-concrete and the ceiling is high. Front door will be redwood color. The color of the ceiling is rich n vibrant, but what for walls & accessories? Any suggestion welcome…..

Anyone can recommend a good college/school to take drawing class?

I’m at bay area, California, am working full-time and have only basic drawing skills. Anyone can recommend a class for non-professionals that meets at evenings and weekends? Preferred at the following cities or around: Mountain View, CA, palo alto CA, sunnyvale, CA, redwood city, CA, cupertino, CA, etc.

Thanks a lot!

Can a native Spanish speaker please help me translate this?

I know this is kind of long but I need it for a poster I need to do. Please don’t just put it into Google translator because I need it with the proper tenses and grammar. Thank you.

I was born in San Francisco’s Children’s Hospital on May 24, 1994. I was born seven pounds and twelve ounces. I lived in San Francisco for a year before moving to Redwood City when I was about two.

This picture was taken at the park. That is one of my closest friends Andus to the left of me. I have known him my entire life because our parents are extremely close friends. We still see each other frequently.

This was taken at Disneyland in California. I was about six at the time and I went with my parents. I remember having a lot of fun going on the rides and seeing the parades. I want to go back sometime soon.

This is when I went on a boat ride with my dad during the summer of my fifth grade year. It was in the San Francisco Bay and the boat went to Alcatraz. I had fun but felt a little sea sick. Afterwards we went to a restaurant and ate sea food.

This is a picture of me inside of my house. In this picture I was about eight years old. I played a lot of video games when I was younger. That was before I started getting into sports.

This is at my cousin’s wedding just last summer. It was a family reunion since we don’t get together very often. As you can see I have a really big family and lots of relatives. I am extremely close to my cousins.

This is Jefferson High School. I am currently a junior here and am going to graduate next year. I enjoying hanging with my friends and playing football. Right now I cannot wait until summer vacation.

After I graduate from high school, I am going to go to college. I will go to somewhere nice like UC Davis. I plan to graduate from college and get a job doing something that I love. I hope then to buy a house and start a family.

Americans, do you thank God each day for blessing your nation with the Golden State of California?

California is so beautiful, no place on earth is like California with its beautiful mountains, redwood forests, beaches, deserts, climate etc. I’m English but one day I will go to California.

Where is the most beautiful part of California?

My pick is Del Norte County, Crescent City, CA.
The last county in California before you hit Oregon on the coast.
Star Wars, Return of the Jedi and ET were filme here.

Check it out!

Any suggestions on where to camp in California?

My family and I are looking for a great place to camp in California. We love being surrounded by redwoods, but would like to stay near central California (close to where we live). Yosemite is booked and we have stayed at the KOA in Santa Cruz and liked it. Does anyone have any other suggestions on great places for a family with young children?
