This is for an arbor over a 16′ garage door. The house is stucco’d and there’s 5 1/2" of foam trim around the door, so the closest I can get the corbels mounted is at 17′. They’re 6×10 or 6×12 corbels. They’re bulged at the bottom and end to end they’re 31.5" with about 7" of landing at the wall end as well as at the top. If this is possible, can these simply be lagged-in thru the stucco and into the wall? I think there’s 6x’s in therenext to the kings. There will be a 2×12(20′)ledger lagged into the gar. header and 4x4s laying across the top at 16-20 in. on center. Any help guys, please and thanks.. Is 7" 3/8 lag-screws enough? Maybe little clips on the side? It just doesnt seem like this will work.

I have a 10 day vacation Arriving in San Diego on Friday July 16th. I want to spend 2 days in SD and 2 days in SF. Also I want to spend a day at Sequia national park possibly yosimite park and the rest of the time driving the California coast. How would you go about planning this time wise and how long does it take to drive the coast while enjoying the sights.

I am in the process of acquiring a 7′ redwood framed Coast Spa. It currently sits on a cement slab and there is a deck built closely around it about 2′ off the ground and 1′ from the top. Is there a way to disassemble it and pull the fiberglass tub up separtely and then move the plumbing frame? Will the redwood surrounding come off around it so the tub can be moved separtely and with less weight? I am pretty much at a loss as to how to go about moving this unit. I would prefer to have some thoughts and coaching before I make the wrong move. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

I am attending Humboldt in the fall and am number 104 on the waiting list for available dorms. Now, they say I could possibly get a dorm, but they’d tell me like a week before school starts. I believe they have around 1,600 dorms, some double, some single and some triple.
So, honestly, what are my chances? Should I look off campus or wait it out?
