Im 15. My family is trying to find a place to take a vacation but we dont know where to go. My dad has enough air miles from business trips that we can fly about anywhere in the US except hawaii for free, which is pretty cool. Without those miles we couldnt afford a trip by air.
So the thing is, we are looking for a place with great sights. Not tons of people. A few years ago we went to northern california which was great. The coast there was amazing. And also we went up to new york, phili, maine, all that by driving.

We only have about 2 ideas for places to go…Washington (state) and Florida…We cant get out of the country though so dont say that.

So.. List where you would want to go in the U.S. and Why?

I live in humboldt county, CA, and i’m wondering if there is any place or group to play airsoft at/with. I know thee is no paintball, thus I am selling my paintball gun, but i would like to try airsoft.

I heard humboldt state university has a horrible cheer squad ? is that true ?
I noticed there were alot of bigger girls on the team, and do you think it is a hard team to get onto ? or they let everyone ??
i dont know, I dont go there. and that has nothing to do with my question. plus who cares if they date football dudes haha

You know how all of you R&S people are sooooo wise, well, Here are the scenarios, lol…In fact, most likely we would be taking two of them at different times between this summer and next spring "IF" we can decide.

1.) Driving to Northern Cali, see friends and some family, see the Redwoods by the coast again and see Yosemite. Probably better to do that in the fall or spring ?

2.) Flying to either Seattle, WA or Portland, OR, see family and several friends in WA. Also going to Victoria and Vancouver, if possible. (summer) Have been putting this off for years!

3.) Colorado, flying then renting a car, traveling a portion of the area seeing friends. (either fall or spring) Putting that off for years as well. XD

4) Flying to No Carolina, briefly see family that I haven’t seen in a while, again renting a car. Driving around and possibly visiting good friends in So Carolina. (feel like that is an important family decision)

5) Seeing a very close friend that I haven’t seen for years. She lives in Michigan but probably would vacation with her in Chicago. Spoke with her last night and I could tell she was hurt I haven’t made time for her.

(I know I am blessed with a lot of friends, LOL…family is another story) Anyway, time and money only goes so with ALL of your help I can figure this out, hopefully.

You thoughts on vacations, what to see, the best value, time of year, etc.,etc. 🙂
