Spiritually Speaking: What vacation would be the best decision and when?
You know how all of you R&S people are sooooo wise, well, Here are the scenarios, lol…In fact, most likely we would be taking two of them at different times between this summer and next spring "IF" we can decide.
1.) Driving to Northern Cali, see friends and some family, see the Redwoods by the coast again and see Yosemite. Probably better to do that in the fall or spring ?
2.) Flying to either Seattle, WA or Portland, OR, see family and several friends in WA. Also going to Victoria and Vancouver, if possible. (summer) Have been putting this off for years!
3.) Colorado, flying then renting a car, traveling a portion of the area seeing friends. (either fall or spring) Putting that off for years as well. XD
4) Flying to No Carolina, briefly see family that I haven’t seen in a while, again renting a car. Driving around and possibly visiting good friends in So Carolina. (feel like that is an important family decision)
5) Seeing a very close friend that I haven’t seen for years. She lives in Michigan but probably would vacation with her in Chicago. Spoke with her last night and I could tell she was hurt I haven’t made time for her.
(I know I am blessed with a lot of friends, LOL…family is another story) Anyway, time and money only goes so with ALL of your help I can figure this out, hopefully.
You thoughts on vacations, what to see, the best value, time of year, etc.,etc. 🙂
Thanks, star please!
Good answers so far. #5 is pretty much a given, just waiting for her to tell me when. I’m getting the feeling that No Carolina and Seattle are strong contenders, lol

#2–That’s where my family is from.I love Seattle. Vancouver Island and Victoria is the best place to visit. Buchart Gardens is like a paradise and the Ferry ride from Tsawassen Hope I spelled correct) is so pretty.Have lunch on ferry. Seattle see Space Needle and all the sights there. Its so green and the Puget sound is fantastic..For a longer ferry ride take it from Seattle.I think Tsawassen is a shorter route and its the Canadian Ferry System..Also see Port Angeles and their Rain Forest. If you want a unusual lunch or supper go top of Space Needle. I want to go too.Any room in your luggage? If ya go to Vancouver you must see Mueller Strasse ( Miller St). Its the German town and a must are the German restaurants and the clock that is ran by steam. If you go on this trip keep your eyes open on deck to the water,if all is good you’ll see Orca whales. What a sight.Summer in the area is very pleasable.Sweater weather in A.M. shirts in P.M sweater at night.

I’ve found out you can never make everyone happy ~ so on vacation time try to BE happy.
Remember friends are the family you pick for yourself 🙂
AND true "family/friends" will always understand and be there for you!

Do you know Eeny, meeny, miny, moe. lol They are all good choices. My wife likes #5. Unforeseen occurrences befall us all, so don’t have any regrets. Take care:)
Well, since You said "spiritually speaking"…here goes. Where can You go where you will either have good Christian association, or see things that deepen your appreciation for this beautiful earth that Jehovah has made by His Son Christ Jesus?
Where can you go where you will be able to encourage a Brother or a Sister who really needs it?
Where can you go where you will possibly be able to do all of these things?
Where can you go where you will say when you get home, thank You Jehovah for that vacation!
Hope this helps.
