Will i fit in to humboldt state if i dont smoke?
http://bestpensintheworld.com/articles/page/2/ i am considering going there for college and i really like it will the woods and beach so close. it offers my major and the school isnt too big. i just dont want to not fit in cuz i dont smoke. will people pressure me?

You’ll be fine.. I thought people grew out of that in like 9th grade? Usually by college people are smart enough to know smoking is unhealthy, and while they still do it themselves, I doubt they’ll encourage you. I’ve never had anyone say anything to me about smoking the entire time I’ve been in college.
I am guessing you mean cigarettes though, and not weed. You might be pressured to do weed, but I doubt it will be a big deal if you don’t do it. I don’t go to humboldt, but I don’t even drink and I’ve never had a problem.
At Humboldt, weed is a big part of the culture. However, if it isn’t something you don’t want to participate in, you won’t be shunned.
You won’t be pressured at ALL. However, you will be offered. When you decline the offer, people will respect that and not try and sway you into doing it.
Also, not EVERYONE at the school smokes weed.
It is a BEAUTIFUL campus…I mean, it’s absolutely stunning. If it is your first choice, I would go.
