Will Humboldt State University affect my future?
can i buy gabapentin in spain I’m going to HSU next year, but it has a bad reputation with marijuana. I myself rather be around a majority that smoke rather than a majority that drinks anyway, however I’m afraid that if I’m applying for medical school they will think that I’m just a pothead because of my school’s reputation. Does it really matter? I really want to avoid changing my choice, but if it’s going to affect my future then I might aswell switch. Medicine might not be my only choice BTW.

Grad school doesn’t really look at your school of undergraduate. They look at GPA, Graduate Test score(MCAT). and work experience/extra curricular

The two answers are absolutely correct.
But to put in a little information about HSU, you are picking a great undergraduate school for any of the sciences. In fact, it is ranked number one in several categories for schools that do not grant PhD’s in the nation. If for some reason the school you are applying to actually does glance or take into some consideration where you attended, they should not be turned off by Humboldt State. I currently attend HSU and several clubs and student organizations have won several competitions against "big-name" schools. And the marijuana stigma is not as bad as everyone puts it.
And by the way, there is A LOT of drinking at Humboldt. It’s college.

Go with the flow medical there is so much to learn and you could get into something great stay with it hope they don’t re get you stay cool something will show up
Dennis is right, grad schools, especially at public universities, don’t so much care where you did your undergraduate as much as how well you did. It’s all about test scores, GPA, letters of recommendation, and your personal statement. They recognize that not everyone at Humboldt is a pothead, so they go with the reasoning that if you can do well on tests and get quality letters from professors, you probably were not stoned out of your mind for the past 4 years.
