What is the best place in California to spend a vacation?
It’s a big state with lots to offer. If you had to choose just in California, where would it be to get away from it all and let your hair down if you are over 50 and really don’t want to do "the kid" thing?

Lake Tahoe, winter or summer. Skiing in the winter and enjoying the most beautiful lake in the summer, plus the casinos with the night life to enjoy if you like that sort of thing. Or else, it is just a great place to enjoy camping and outdoor activities.
