What do you think of this wedding ring for my *husband* (!! I'm so excited to say that!!)?

The reason I like these rings so much is twofold – the metals they are made of (titanium and tungsten) are indestructable (especially tungsten), just like my love for him. Plus, he’s really active and would break/bend a gold ring. Second reason I like them is the woods they incorporate – redwood *responsibly harvested* is the oldest living thing on the earth – symbolizing longevity and permanence – ditto with the romantic meanings there. The ancient kauri wood is a similar thing – the wood has endured for 50,000 years…shows how endless my love for him is…
Do you like these? Do you agree with the sentiments/symbolism? Do you think he would like it?

I love the first one…. probably because it is more rounded and would probably be more comfortable… your symbolism is awesome!! I think any man would love either one of these rings 🙂 CONGRATS!!

I like both of them! it is all the more meaningful to buy any jewelry if it has symbolic meaning for you.
I think I like the first one a little better.

they are wonderful and so is the thought behind it. i personally thought i would like the tungsten one better (my fiance has a tungsten engagment ring) but i have to say, i LOVE the titanium one. the esty one.

Awww! Your so thoughtful and sweet! I love the symbols. Not only do you pay attention to him but you find ways to make things easier for him. He won’t break his ring and the wood stands for an ever after relationship! How sweet! The rings more depend on his personality. The first is more sleek and stylish for if he’s more serious and a business man. The second symbolizes more laid back and carefree. Which would you compare him to? Also where your going to live. If your living in a more cold climate I would say the first because it reminds me of colder climate. If your living in warm or hot climate I reccomend the second one because it’s more hawaiinish. Or if your getting married some cold/hot. May you have a long, happy, heathy, relationship!

I like the second one. I completely understand the sentimental and practical value of the tungsten–my fiance doesn’t want a tungsten-carbide ring, but I think it would be best for his active lifestyle.
I wouldn’t get my fiance a ring with the wood because it’s not something he would like, but if you think your husband-to-be would like it, by all means go for it. I like the looks of both rings

Interesting concept and meaning. Love the design, but I’m a woman, ask your man.
Really, Ask him if he would like it. My husband and I went together to ring shopping for him. Interesting enough, the things that I would think he would like, he was not even interested in those and he chose a lovely tungsten ring of his liking, style and taste. He loves his ring and I’m happy that he loves it. Remember that he will have to wear it for the rest of his life and since this particular ring is quite an interesting choice, seek his opinion on that design.

Before you buy anything online, please be careful.
1. Does the company offer lifetime sizing? You can’t simply take a tungsten ring and have it re-sized anywhere and there are very few companies that offer lifetime sizing.
2. Is there a 30 exchange policy? Some companies will give you a 10 day exchange and it usually takes 3 – 5 days to receive your ring. You then have 1 short day to decide to keep it and re-ship.
3. Free shipping? If you’re paying anything for shipping then something is wrong.
