what could be the cause of my coughing?
I recently went on vacation for over a month in northern california. on my way back after being on the bus for 19 hours I started coughing and it hasn’t stopped for a few days. I have some theories of whats wrong and wanted some of your opinions
1. the change in atmosphere might just be messing with my body
2. The extremely long bus ride could have just worn down my bodys immunity
3. I got my tongue pierced a month ago and it might still be healing
what are your thoughts on this?
I started coughing out some gunk yesterday for a bit but now nothing. my piercing isn’t infected but I figured maybe it’s part of the healing process. But it’s just a cough! nothing else is wrong which is why I’m so confused. usually I just get sick or get a sore throat.

You’ve probably caught something from someone on the bus ride since everyone was so close. No need to worry, but if it persists, just go to your doctors

Hmmm maybe see a doctor if you think there’s a cause other than you’re just catching a cold. If your tongue piercing is infected would that cause it maybe? I would wait a few more days to see if it goes away.
could be a lot of things. what kind of cough is it? are you coughing anything up? what other symptoms do you have? NEED MORE INFO.
