What are the choices I have to find a deal on an affordable rental car in San Francisco. Rent a Wreck?
I guess a pass will get me around the city of San Francisco, no rental car needed. But to travel down the coast or north maybe to the redwoods or to the wine country Should I rent a car? Are there alternative rental car copmpanies? What about the green tortoise? Do they do day trips anywhere?

Rent a Wreck is OK. I’d also look at City Rent a Car; I’ve found they have reasonable rates.
Go on Priceline.com you can get really great deals… I got a car for 15 a day
