Volunteer to build houses in bay area?

This summer I would love to get involved in community service. I think it would be fun to help build houses so does anyone know of places in the bay area close to Redwood City (that is where I live). Or if anyone has other suggestions of how to get involved, that would be great. Thanks.

On line check out Habitat for Humanity, narrow search by your State and County and sign up as a volunteer
either check the website or contact Habitat for Humanity im sure they could use your help
