If you can be more specific about where you’re traveling from and where you’d like to go, I can help out. There are lakes all over California, so it’s just a matter of where you’d like to go: Lake Tahoe, Big Bear, Lake Arrowhead, Shaver Lake, Shasta Lake, etc. How many are in your family? Also, were you looking for a camp-style setup with organized activities, or are you looking for a place that just has lots of nearby activities? The more specific you can get the better.
