$500 is nothing for college these days….that sadly could be what you spend on books for the semester. as for stereotypes of the schools, fresno has a bad reputation as redneck school, its in the middle of nowhere thats why alot of people that go have school spirit because thats all there is to do.

humboldt has the reputation of weed, that a lot of students do it. however its near the ocean. but again nowhere near any major city so again its a college life school. i wouldnt let $500 dollars make your descion. if it were $5000 then that would be something to think about but $500 is nothing. go where you want or else youll regret it when your stuck somewhere. go where will make you happy because youll be there atleast 4 years.

Hate to slam Fresno,but If you like Humboldt, attend Humboldt. You only live once.. My friends two daughters attend Humboldt. Fresno is hot during the summer too. Great sports programs at Fresno.. but like you said, your majoring in Theatre.. good luck!
