How great of a school is Humboldt State University? Why or why not?

I am not an alum but I feel that I can answer your question to some degree. One of my best college professors and high school teacher graduated from Humboldt state. They had nothing but excellent things to say about their experiences. They felt the quality of the programs were solid and recommended the school.
