How expensive is land in Redwood City, CA?

However, when it comes time to pay my property taxes, I’d like to know, what’s the per-square-foot price for land in Redwood City? Both for housing and lot.

You can probably get a good idea by looking at comparable properties (to the ones you are interested in) on MLS, and then checking the tax appraiser’s web site to see what the assessed values are. If they don’t show you the actual tax amounts (most won’t) you can see what jurisdictions are involved and usually the rate for each. From that information you should be able to calculate a pretty good estimate of property taxes.
There is no answer to your question all land is different. what you are asking is like how expensive is a blue car in Redwood City. Land is appraised by utility, location, zoning and comparables. One maybe .10 cents per sf and one may be $200 per sf.
