Can water affect the health of your hair? If so, what can I do to improve it?
Az̧ Z̧āhirīyah I live in northern California, the water is “hard” as they say. So my hair is usally flat, dull and lifeless. No volume at all, I even tried all the shampoo’s, expensive, cheap, weightless, etc. I just went on vacation to Las Vegas last weekend, and oh my gosh, my hair was so bouncy and full of volume it was crazy. It felt like I had went to an expensive salon. When I got home it back to the same old hair 🙁

Certain levels of hardness (or softness) in hair can definitely effect the outcome of your bounce and shine! 🙂 A trick that works, once a week use vinegar to strip your hair of all the buildup that hardwater causes– Also, a girl who works at Nexxus recommended that a person should only condition the ends of their hair instead of root-to-tip. This will at least take away some of the weight and buildup!

Water can definitely affect the health of your hair, but in a good way. Drinking water helps keep your hair hydrated (since it’s dead). It makes hair shiny, silky & full of volume. It also helps increase the growth rate of your hair (makes your hair grow faster). Since it’s really hot in Las Vegas, you probably drink a lot of water, that’s what made your hair bouncy and volumy. By the way, almost all hair products and shampoos are nearly the same. Don’t stress out on what brand to buy. Achieving bouncy and full of volume hair without the money is easy, here are the steps:
-Take one of your brushes (not combs) and spray some hair spray (the harder the better, but not to hard) into it.
-Flip your head and hair over and brush you hair downwards with the brush that has the hair spray on it.
-When the hair spray runs out on the brush, simply spray more on.

do oil ur hair & keep away them from sunlight.
cover ur hair 4 some days with a cloth.
It will help to recover ur hair soon.

Yes, the type of water you have can affect your hair. My aunt had hard water and her’s did the same thing. Your best bet is to buy a water purifier.
Water can certainly affect the health of your hair. Hard water has lots of chemicals and minerals which get deposited on your hair each time you shower. Try to give your hair a last rinse with drinking water.
Water is different in certain states and geographical areas. Some shampoos work through the chemicals, some do not.
In future look for shampoos that are made for hard water-available in professional beauty supply stores.
