Shallow pond with fountain…. shallow basking area… lots of sand.. fed daily, fresh fruit, veggies, greens, snails, and night crawlers (worms) etc. Lots of sand piles, and a bamboo fence four inches from the redwood fence, so they can hide, with about 4-6 inches of sand. Would love to have a couple more! I spend at least three hours a day with them. Know where they are at all times!

I am 15 and a half years old turning 16 in July and hopefully will get my license in August. I have never babysat before but I do have some experience with kids from volunteering as a crew leader at Vacation Bible School at the local church for the past three summer and I plan to continue to volunteer there for the next couple years of high school, I am a sophomore. As I said I have never babysat before I was offered a job by one of my dad’s coworkers but was unable to as she needed me on the third day of school at the beginning while her kids were still on summer vacation. I live in Northern California in Alameda County and was wondering what is a good way to get babysitting clients when i have no recommendations to go off of? I am willing to do fliers but feel that no one will hire me based on a flier and there are not any little kids who need to be babysat in my neighborhood.

I have pet sat for many of my neighbors and also would be interested in this. I have a cat though so pets cannot come to my house I would have to come to them.

I want to go camping, but I don’t really want to camp at a designated campsite. Can you camp off the trails? If not, are there any campsites that are strictly for tents and not RV’s?

I will be transferring to Humboldt next year, and want to know a little about the dorm life. If you’re a current student or alumni, which dorm did you like the most/least? I really know nothing about the dorms, so any help would be great. Thanks!

This isn’t in the near future, but the next time my husband deploys, I’m thinking about homeschooling the kids for a year and traveling the country, camping in or near national parks. I want them to see the redwoods and Yellowstone and all that. I haven’t thought much about it; I’m just starting to get serious about it. Any thoughts? Also, who wants to let me camp in the driveway for a week?

I’m traveling from the redwood national park through san francisco down hwy 101 I am just with my boyfriend so safety is a must. I’m looking for a safe town from 1-3 hours away. Any suggestions?

I’ve found that the Mandara spa open hours are: The Fitness Center: 6am – 8pm, Spa & Salon: 8am – 8pm
But i wondered what these pools were:
