When should I start applying to colleges?
I want to apply to: Chico State, Fresno State, San Jose State, and Humboldt State. They all say that the apps are due in the fall. So should I start cracking on the applications this summer?

I have a cool looking redwood coffee table that has an unusual shape and is about 6 1/2 feet long and 2 1/2 feet wide. Other than a redwood clock I have, I do not own anything that would go well with this table. What would be some good design ideas I can use in my living room with this table as a centerpiece?

Where are good short drives to Nor Cal?
I live in Portland Oregon and my mom wants to spend no more then 8 hours driving to our summer vacation. I would like to get sun this summer as in go to So Cal but obviously that’s out of the question. She wants to go to some place up by Seattle in a rain forest, which would be cool only there is NOTHING there!! Im looking for some sunny places in Northern California that would accommodate both my mother and myself’s requirements. I want a beach with sun and shopping and she wants a short car ride. We have driven to Reno NV in a day and I wouldn’t mind doing that again. She would want to do this in a weekend. That means leaving either thursday night after work or early friday morning, and leaving either monday or sunday afternoon.
Would it kill a redwood tree if I planted it with something frozen?
I would like to plant a redwood tree with my baby’s placenta. The tree will be his special tree. I would like to do it today, but haven’t planned far enough ahead, so the placenta is still frozen. It will only be out of the freezer for 3 hours. Will this be bad for the tree?
What are the closest BIG redwood trees from SF bay area?
I’m looking for some big red wood trees that are close to the SF bay area. I’m not looking to travel more than 2 hours outside of the bay. Please let me know some of the best spots to see them. The closer to the bay area the better. An address that I can use in maps is best. Thanks for your time.
What type of ferns grow in Northern California?
Specifically Humboldt county. Humboldt is located on the coast, and the elevation of the ferns I saw was probably only 100 feet to 200 feet about sea level.
