This is the kind of answer your teacher is probably looking for. Big corporations raping the forests, etc. While a lot of that line of thought is true, it is not usually as bad as they claim. You might gently suggest there is some sign of hope by using the idea of "sustainablility" of the forests (IE, replanting redwoods as they are cut, similar to how the pine forests in the southeast have been placed millions of acres of land in regrowing pines as a method to continue to provide us with building wood and paper producst).
