Is there a way to "disguise'' redwood stain on wooden decks?
I covered the deck with redwood stain which turn out to be more a paint, and now its bright red. I would like a more natural wood look.

Get a stain that is what you want and top coat the red stain.

It sounds like the stain you have is a solid color rather than semi-transparent. The only way to remove this is to use a chemical stripper and then use a pressure washer to clean the rest of the wood up. From that point, I would use a semi-transparent stain instead. There are no guarantees that this will work but it’s your only option other than living with the color that is there now.
Razor, sounds like you have a problem, there are products that will make the stain less visible, but not remove it. I would suggest sanding the deck down to take off the top layer, then use a stripper / deck wash to get as much color out as possible then use an oil based stain in a color you like to try and cover it up. I tried a preassure washed and only managed to mess up the decking so would not go that route again. You will most likley have to go to a dark (ish) color of stain to hide the red. Good luck
