Ever stayed at the Holiday Inn Patriot in Virginia and experienced anything supernatural like poltergeists?
The hotel is in Williamsburg Virginia. It’s located on 3032 Richmond Rd. and is really close to old Williamsburg and Bush Gardens. It’s a really dingy, gross place, but while staying there last spring for a chorus trip with my school, the room my friends and I were in had a few experiences of the poltergeist nature (i.e. things moving to impossible places and lamps turning on in the middle of the night). I was just wondering if anyone else has ever stayed there and had similar experiences. If so I would really like to hear about it.

I’ve never stayed at that Holiday Inn, but I went to college in Williamsburg, and there are several companies that offer Ghost Tours, generally of the Colonial district, and parts of the College of William and Mary. Reportedly, there are many ghosts lurking around Williamsburg, although I never encountered any of them. That Holiday Inn is a bit removed from the Colonial District, but who knows what may have happened there over the years.
I’ve included links to some of the Ghost Tours in Williamsburg. Next time you’re there, you should definitely check one out.
Oh my God, it’s still going on, I thought they cleared that place out.
When my wife and I stayed there the phones would ring once or twice a night, there would be people on the other end, talking to each other. It was like a 3 way conversation but we were ingnored, they wouldn’t even answer us when we asked who they were. The people talking sounded like they were military.
Then we would report some one running up and down the hall, banging on the door. We would look out the door and see no one. Management thought we we crazy since no one else heard any thing.
