There are different stains available you can apply, go to Home depot and check there color charts for the color you want.

There are all kind of stains on market to choose from to get the effect you want, best thing I would do is get a sample of what effect your trying to get and maybe the paint store or a professional painter can be of help.My husband is a painter, and we always take samples to our customers as what they may want.

leave it alone and let it weather naturally and it will soon match the rest…. if you stain it to match NOW, it will never match later… the rest of the deck will age further, but your stained area will not…..
Yes, there are many brands of stains available at your local do-it-your-self stores… clear, semi-transparent,solid color stains would be the best way to go…Stains let the wood grain show through. So the result is a very natural, rustic look. Take a picture of the redwood or better yet, take a sample into the store with you. Ask the salesman for some pointers…..also, make sure that when you look at the samples of stains that are on display, you look at that color stain, ON TOP OF REDWOOD ONLY!! They usually have 5 or 6 different shades of the same stain on display,…the different shades are because they are on different types of wood…the color of the wood, (ex: pine-walnut), effects what color the stain will become…P.S. Olympic has a solid color stain out there and it’s name is Weatherd Barn. Nice color..Also… Remember that generally the more pigment,(color), in the stain, the longer your wood will be protected by the elements.
