Where in Oregon are there redwoods and not a lot of residential development?
I’m writing a novel, and i need a location in Oregon (or the surrounding area) where there are relatively impressive sequoias, but where there could also be a rural residential home.
What area should I look into?

Redwoods National Park is about as far north as the big sequoias go. I haven’t seen any in southern Oregon.
There really aren’t any of the huge red woods in Oregon. There are some near Brookings but not the huge ones everyone thinks about. Northern CA is pretty much the furthest north that you find the big ones. Look at the area around Klamath CA. That’s where The Trees of Mystery is located and is a little over 30 south of the CA – OR border.
