I think my kitten might be pregnant ,need help.?
ok so , i have two 6 month of kittens . and i think one of them is pregnant.
I have them booked to get spayed tomorrow because the vet wouldnt spay them before 6 months .
I really dont want my kitten to be pregnant.
she has gain alot of weight and her nipples were pink and ahave now turned white .
she was never affectionate towards me just my sister , any time i went near her she growled at me,(i dont know why ) and all of a sudden the past 2 weeks she always wants to be around me and purrs non stopp.
she never normaly cries when she is put in the garden . but she jus sits at the door looking to get in again and crys.
she always seems to be laying down or sleeping . she licks her nipples and bum constantly .
she woddles too.
she eats far more than any off my cats . and she hardly uses the litter tray but goes outside it.
Her blood pressure is very high
my other other kitten seems so much playful
I have 2 other cats a male and female 1 year old . both have been done at 6 months .
they never acted like this
Could it be worms or a tumor,
or Something
Im taking her to the vet tomorrow and if it is kittens she’s getting them removed . because she is wayy too young .
Please no stupid answers
this has never happened me bfore with any off my cats .
Male cats were around my garden
i cant keep her locked away because she used to begg to get let out .
need answerd asap. 🙂
as much as i would love kittens , it just inn’t fair on shadow.
The vet told us it would be extremely rare for her to get pregnant and that she wuld be ok outside.

She -could- be pregnant, but it could be something worse. Fortunately, they are already scheduled to go to the vet tomorrow, so you will have them looked over! Write down all of your concerns and bring them up with your vet when you go, as well as her recent symptoms and changes in behavior. It will help a great deal when it comes to diagnosing your kitty and might save her life =)

Its NOT "extremely rare" for a 6 month old kitten to be pregnant. Kittens as young as 4 months old have been known to get pregnant.
Keep the spay appointments. The ideal age to do it is 3-4 months old, but some vets don’t like to do them before 6 months – and you wind up with more pregnant kittens.

@Kia YOU seem a little old-fashioned. The chance that a kitten will get pregnant just from being outside at all is so little that it’s not even a concern to most cat owners. And to keep a cat outside for 3-4 months… That’s incredibly selfish and unfair to your pet. My kitten is almost 7 months old. If she hadn’t been outside for 4 of those, she may have been worse off than if she had gotten pregnant. She loves playing outside more than anything. She plays outside for hours — rain, snow, sun, hail, and probably in a tornado — and only comes in to eat and poop. Have a little respect for the well-being of your energetic animals!!

That’s a wonderful idea to save a dying tree, altaucly a very creative idea and the results are good looking! I like it. We are now busy pretty much in the coming days with our upcoming travel plans, so sorry that I was not visiting so often and maybe not will be more in the future.Sue’s Daily Photography
You are very wise to abort the litter if she is indeed pregnant. A litter at her age could kill her. I am curious as to why you were letting her out if she wasn’t fixed yet? I hope you will consider this next time. I am very confident that she is pregnant. I hope the vet has good news for you and everything works out. And just because our pets or kids "want" to do something, it doesn’t mean they should. Next time, keep them in until they are fixed, even if they beg.
I would highly suggest seeking out a new vet. Cats can go into their first heat as early as 3-4 months and its entirely possible to get pregnant on that first heat. Its also possible to spay them as early as 8 weeks (provided they are 2lbs). I would call other vets, yours sounds a little old fashioned.
