Which college is better, Humboldt State U, or U of Montana?
I’m probably majoring in Wildlife Biology, and I love the outdoors. Which school would be better for me?

Do you have the catalogs from both schools? Those catalogs usually list the coursework required in each degree field they offer. If you are interested in Wildlife Biology as a major, look in their programs and see which one offers courses that best meet your needs based on what you think you want to do when you are done with college. Also, are they located near an area where you will be able to get field experience or internships? Call the admissions counselors and see if you can either set up a tour of the campus for a weekend. It is also a good idea to see if you can talk to an adviser or head of the department of your field. By visiting, you get a feel for the campus and if it feels like you would "belong." Also, by talking with at least one teacher, you get some idea of how they treat and respond to students and if their program is suited for you.
I guess what I am trying to say is that many schools offer similar programs, but the decision of which school is better for YOU is really up to you. Visiting and asking a lot of questions helps you determine that. I hope that helps.
By the way, when you visit, take a parent or friend with you. If you can, try to stay in the dorms or campus housing.
